Improving indoor air will reduce the prevalence of asthma attacks and infectious disease transmission. This event is part of the nationwide celebration of Children’s Environmental Health Day on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

- Marilyn Howarth, MD, FACOEM, is the Deputy Director of the Philadelphia Regional Center for Children’s Environmental Health, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine
- Moderated By: Rebecca Simmons, MD, is the Hallam Hurt Professor of Pediatrics at Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine and an attending neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She serves as the Co-Director of the Philadelphia Regional Center for Children’s Environmental Health.
