PRCCEH is pleased to announce our 49th and 50th researcher Center members, Drs. Arnold Eiser and Kimberly Arnold! In 4 years, our Center has almost doubled in membership and expanded to 9 universities and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. It is through our members’ innovative research, dedication to translation science and partnerships that our Center is leading the way in children’s environmental health science both locally and across the country.
Meet our two newest members:
Kimberly T. Arnold Jenkins, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health with a secondary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the Penn Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Arnold Jenkins is a mental health services researcher, implementation scientist, and public health practitioner who specializes in advancing health equity through community-partnered research and multisector collaboration, addressing inequities in social determinants of health, and implementing and evaluating evidence-based interventions in clinical and community settings. She has worked on numerous projects focused on improving the implementation and sustainability of school mental health interventions. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Implementation Science Services in the Translational Research Support Core of the Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology.
Arnold R. Eiser, MD, Master of the American College of Physicians (MACP) is an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania. He has extensively researched the interfaces of the neurosciences and environmental health with particular attention to environmental factors in the development of dementia, autism, and dysautonomia.
