Water Pollution Curriculum for Elementary Students

This unit developed by Aisha Kittrell serves to help students understand, analyze, think critically, model, and research to gain a better understanding of how the water cycle, watershed, and water filtration are connected. In this unit, students will understand how water comes from the sky to the ground and back into the atmosphere through modeling the hydrologic cycle, as well as, analyzing what happens to the rainwater after it comes from the sky to the ground.
