Mikayla is the Program Coordinator of the Translation Core of the Center. In her role, Mikayla administers the translation core programs including assisting with the Chester CAPP program, developing asbestos hazard assessments for Philadelphia schools, and helping homeowners identify and manage environmental health hazards in their homes. Mikayla coordinates meetings, engages with community partners, develops translational materials, and performs translational activities in collaboration with Dr. Marilyn Howarth.
Mikayla is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has a background in community engagement and health education. Mikayla earned both her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Liberty University.
