Matt Walker is currently the Advocacy Director at Clean Air Council. Matt graduated from Virginia Tech with a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. Matt will work with Center members to provide insight into environmental legal issues that warrant a policy approach to improving environmental health.
Clean Air Council is one of Pennsylvania’s oldest and largest environmental health advocacy organizations. As such, Clean Air Council works throughout the state of Pennsylvania to address environmental health, including at the neighborhood level. Their primary goal is to protect people’s health from the harmful impacts of pollution. They do this through their work in education, promoting community action, and ensuring that environmental laws are being executed by the public agencies involved.
