Healthy Buildings Program Manager | Women for a Healthy Environment

Lorna Rosenberg is currently the Healthy Buildings Program Manager for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Office of Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE). Lorna’s work has recently focused on reducing risks in the childcare settings to environmental hazards in four environmental justice neighborhoods in Philadelphia through air monitoring and feedback to staff. Lorna will collaborate with Center members on the creation of webinars on environmental health topics important in childcare settings.

Women for a Healthy Environment (WHE) provides education around environmental risks to human health, recommends action steps to mitigate those risks, and advocates for solutions to better protect Pennsylvanians. WHE serves parents, students, children, schools and early learning personnel, as well as health and community-based organizations, with an emphasis on those living in underserved communities.
