Jessica Rice is an attending physician with the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Pulmonology at the Penn Perelman School of Medicine.
Dr. Rice’s research focuses on the indoor environment as a modifiable risk factor for pediatric lung disease. Her short-term goals are to investigate the health effects of indoor air pollution in the homes of preterm infants. Future work will develop, implement, and evaluate the health impact of an intervention to reduce indoor air pollution in homes of infants and children with chronic lung disease.
