Dr. Chan is a physician-scientist and practicing pediatrician with expertise in epidemiology and a deep commitment to advancing children’s environmental health through research. She leads large, interdisciplinary teams and global collaborations to improve early childhood health and development through sustainable, evidence-based interventions in low- and middle-income countries. Her work focuses on understanding and reducing the health impacts of extreme weather, air pollution, and other environmental hazards.
