Enrique F. Schisterman is a national leader in epidemiological methods and reproductive epidemiology. He is currently the chair of the Department of Biology, Epidemiology and Informatics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to his arrival at Penn in early 2021, he served as senior investigator and Epidemiology Branch Chief in the Division of Intramural Population Health Research in the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). His research focuses on the methodological components of exposure assessment, and on the etiologic study of reproduction, including trials of low-cost interventions to improve reproductive functions.
