Climate Change and Impacts on MCH Health Populations

Abby D. Mutic, PhD, MSN, CNM , Assistant Professor and Director, SE Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (Region 4), Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Emory University

Dr. Mutic is a practicing Certified Nurse Midwife with a translational science research background in perinatal and pediatric environmental exposures and respiratory health outcomes. She oversees multiple community outreach projects in the Southeast and consults with exposed communities and healthcare providers experiencing large and small environmental hazards. Dr. Mutic employs continuous community guidance for research development, interpretation, and educational report-back.

All are welcome to join this first webinar of our Climate and MCH webinar series. During this webinar, Dr. Mutic will provide an overview of the impacts of climate change on maternal and child health populations. She will also discuss her work in this space..
