Children in the Philadelphia region face many environmental threats and health problems from asthma to lead poisoning, air pollution and toxic chemicals. Our Center provides support, resources, funding and tools to researchers and community organizations to implement real world solutions in Philadelphia that can serve as a model for success elsewhere.
Your donation will assist us in our efforts, and contribute to:
- Funding pilot projects that test environmental health interventions;
- The creation and continuation of our unique programs, including the Chester Community Asthma Prevention Program, webinars for childcare providers, Academy for Environmental Exposure Reduction, teacher training and more; and/or
- Educational outreach to Philly regional communities and answering questions from the public about environmental health concerns.
While our Center was founded in late 2021 with funding from the NIEHS, donations such as yours will ensure our programs thrive long after our grants end.
