Vast evidence supports the importance of play and exercise for children’s optimal growth and development.  Unfortunately, play spaces may represent significant risks for environmental exposures that can cause adverse, irreversible lifelong health outcomes. A community-based, family-centered approach that healthier environments and consequently better health, developmental and academic outcomes.  With Dr. Gredia Huerta-Montanez, Faculty, Region 2 PEHSU, Senior Principal Research Scientist, Northeastern University.
