Lessons Learned from Community Translation Pilot Projects

In this virtual seminar, we will look back at the two pilot projects completed this year by our community partners, the Chester Environmental Partnership and the Women for a Healthy Environment. How did they choose their projects? Who was involved? Was it successful? What could have been improved? And where do they think they will go next?

The Pilot Projects:

  • The Chester Environmental Partnership: Neighborhood clean-up to reduce asthma triggers
  • Women for a Healthy Environment: Investigation of shade structures in encouraging more and longer outdoor play during summer and fall days in urban childcare
