Accelerating Research Translation for Children’s Environmental Health in Oregon

The Oregon State University ASPIRE Center uses implementation and dissemination science methodology to increase the uptake of evidence-based children’s environmental health information by families, early learning centers, clinics, and community organizations that are responsible for children’s health and development in Oregon. The ASPIRE Center’s approach relies heavily on connecting behavioral and environmental health scientists with community-based organizations in order to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and practical solutions that can improve the lives of children and families.
