Ethan Goldberg, M.D., Ph.D., is a pediatric neurologist and neuroscientist. He is Associate Professor in the Division of Neurology at the). He received his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from Harvard University; M.D. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from NYU; and undertook pediatrics, pediatric neurology, adult neurology, and neurogenetics clinical training, at CHOP and Penn. Dr. Goldberg is now Attending Physician and Director of the Epilepsy Neurogenetics Initiative (ENGIN) at CHOP, the largest dedicated epilepsy neurogenetics program in the United States. His lab studies basic mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders including childhood epilepsy and autism, including the role of genetic and environmental influences on disease risk and pathogenesis.
