SUMMARY:2026 Our Planet\, Our Health Convention
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Our Planet\, Our Health Convention will convene health professionals\, researchers\, community leaders\, and policy experts to tackle one of the most urgent issues of our time: the growing impact of climate change on health. Hosted by the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health\, this event will take place both in-person and virtually from March 1-2\, 2026\, with an optional pre-convention partner day on February 28 and educational visits to Congress on March 3. \nHeld in the Washington\, D.C. metropolitan area\, the convention provides a unique opportunity to shape a tiered local to national agenda at the intersection of climate and health—at a critical time as climate disasters grow worse and federal action is stalling.

SUMMARY:Extreme temperatures\, neighborhood opportunity\, and pediatric primary care outcome
DESCRIPTION:In this webinar\, Dr. Stephanie Mayne from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will present results from a PRCCEH-funded pilot study examining the association of extreme temperatures with missed pediatric preventive visits. Additional research examining the relationship of neighborhood context\, assessed using the multidimensional Child Opportunity Index\, with primary care utilization\, obesity\, mental health\, and adolescent risk factors will be presented as well. \nDr. Mayne\, PhD\, MD\, is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on the relationship of neighborhood environmental exposures with child well-being\, including outcomes such as sleep\, mental health\, and obesity. Her recent work uses intensive longitudinal methods including location tracking\, ecological momentary assessment\, and actigraphy to better assess environmental exposures that vary through time and space and their relationship to sleep among adolescents. \n  \nRegister for this Seminar:\n\n\n \n \n \n \n Δ\n \n \n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n OrganizationJoin our mailing list?
